This handmade 108 natural stone Mala is made on The Big Island of Hawaii and has a strand made with Smoky Quartz, Labradorite, and Golden Obsidian. It is finished with a Koa Guru Bead and beaded tassel. As a premium Mala this piece also comes with one of our sterling silver tags.

Labradorite is considered the "Stone of Self-Discovery”. Excellent for awakening one's own awareness of inner spirit and intuition. One of the most powerful protectors of the mineral kingdom. Thought to create a shielding force throughout the aura and strengthen natural energies from within. The Inuit legend is that the flash is the Aurora Borealis captured.
The Guru Bead is Koa.
The Koa Bead is Harvested and Handmade in Hawaii. It is a type of wood endemic to the Hawaii Islands and is known to reflect strength and courage. The word Koa means “Warrior” and the wood was used in ancient Hawaii for making surfboards.
This Mala is approximately 23 inches in length from Tassel to the stones at the back of the strand. The strand beads are approximately 8mm.
All of our Malas are hand knotted between each stone. Knotting between each bead makes it easier to pass through your fingers and reduces hair snagging.
